Hi there its been a few days. If you read my last post you remember I hurt my foot, Well its getting better. I still cant walk very far but I managed to get 15 minutes in on the glider last night. I 'll jump on it again tonight for a few minutes. Did you know just about every thing out there (food wise) has salt in it. My wife has got me looking at everything. The other day I thought I was doing real good when I had Toast and jam the jam being 5 mega grams (mg) of salt. The bread is 170 mg for 2 slices. WOW. I have been trying to keep my salt intake down to 1000 mg a day. So Here is what I had today for breakfast I had this Fruit and vegetable drink that my wife made me in the blender i think the only salt in it was the orange juice (20mg). She just told me the whole drink was 50mg. and a glass of milk (135mg) with my vitamin's. For lunch I had A low salt 6inch Subway Sandwich and 20 ounces of tea (20mg) none of my snacks today had salt in or on them. for dinner i had a small helping of the low salt Mexican casserole. it was made with boiled chicken instead of meat, it is real good. and a glass of milk (135mg) Well i think I did OK today.
